Well, I'm sure learning the hard way how to do things.  I just had an entire post that I lost because I previewed it and didn't save it first. Why did it delete it? Oh well, let's start over.  I bought this linoleum (I think) tile at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore for around $1.  If you've never been to one, GO!  I really enjoyed doing this painting. It is my first one on something like this. The acrylic paint really grabbed on to the texture of the back of the tile.  I had fun dropping the paint from anywhere from 1" up to 3" up onto the tile. I guess I can call it 2 dimensional?  Anyway, I'd like this to by the main picture of my blog for now but can't figure out how to get it there. I guess I'll just keep learning.  That's what life is all about anyway, right. And sometimes you have to go through things you don't want to.  I PROMISE not to bore you with all the stuff about my separation.  I would, however, like to add statistics or a suggestion as how to try and understand what a person who is going through a separation or divorce is feeling or trying to cope with. If your friend or relative is going through one of these, please realize that 80-85% of their energy is going into dealing with their emotions. So just please encourage them and realize this takes a long time.  Enough of that.  Here is my painting and a picture of the front of the tile so you can see what I am talking about. I believe it is a ft sq.

This was fun so I think I may make another trek to ReStore. (Yes, Jean, I know I have enough things to paint already, but this was so much fun!)  I need to find a way to frame it.  It tends to not want to stay flat so I'll get help from good ole Walt from church.  Walt, Walt, he's our man if he can't do it no one can!

Here is a picture of my best non-person friend, Buck. Ain't he beautiful!  Hope you have a great day. The sun is shining here and that ALWAYS helps.
